My client, a reputable marketing services agency, is looking for an experienced Copywriter, who will be working on-site with a leading blue chip client in Northamptonshire. This role could see you writing everything from a letter to marketing collateral to creative copy, so excellent writing skills and attention to detail are a must.
As Copywriter, your responsibilities will include taking a thorough brief and producing copy to a high standard, formatting copy to be cost-effective or to specific instructions, following relevant house-styles and tone-of-voice guides, presenting to the client alongside the senior team, and liaising with the manager for workload and scheduling. You will also be expected to control the quality of your work and assist with that of others, ensure all work is appropriately filed, and complete additional duties when required.
As an individual, you should be creative and full of ideas, with exceptional writing skills, an excellent eye for detail, and approximately 1 to 3 years’ experience. In terms of your writing ability, you will be skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct long and short copy, and online copy for web, banners, landing pages, and microsites, and you should understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets. You should also be friendly, proactive, approachable, helpful, flexible, a great communicator who can remain calm under pressure, and a tidy and organised person who can identify practical solutions to problems.
