Our client, one of the world’s largest communications consultancies, is looking for an experienced consumer health Account Director to join their award-winning team.
The role entails working across a range of well-known consumer healthcare brands and campaigns, at a UK and pan-European level. You will have a strong background in consumer health and wellbeing brands, and ideally have exposure to managing the communications for over-the-counter medicines. You will also need an understanding and an appreciation of the challenging regulatory environment that exists with these brands. A good understanding of the changing role of the pharmacist and other HCPs that interact directly with brands would be highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter who understands the consumer health arena with the ability to help shape and support the consumer health offering. A good understanding of how to apply FMCG thinking to consumer health brands would also be very useful. As this is quite a diverse role you will also need to be flexible in your approach to work with both a consumer team and a healthcare team, as well as those different audiences. You must be conversant with PAGB guidelines.
