This is a fabulous opportunity for a talented Head of Corporate Communications, with a strong digital bent, to work on one of the biggest regeneration projects in Europe.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be London’s newest urban park – so much more than your average green space. It will embody all the positivity and opportunity of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and help to reshape and redefine the Capital for local residents, Londoners and visitors from the UK and beyond. State-of-the-art venues and attractions will sit alongside homes, schools and businesses amongst green open spaces and pieces of art in the heart of east London. This will be no ordinary park.

Now the London Legacy Development Corporation, the organisation tasked with the Park’s transformation, is looking for a dynamic Head of Corporate Communications to communicate its key messages internally and externally through digital and printed channels.

Working closely with the Director of Communications and Public Affairs, the post-holder will be responsible for developing Legacy Corporation’s digital and internal communications strategy to promote the Park’s brand and wider legacy plans, as the Legacy Corporation prepares to open the Park from July 2013 to spring 2014.

Leading a small team, the successful candidate will have previously managed a multi-functional communications team and have significant experience of digital communications, including social media and web-based technologies. They will also have a track record of managing all aspects of corporate communications, including brand management, publications and internal communications.

With advanced influencing and communication skills, the successful candidate will be highly organised, an excellent people manager and have the gravitas to thrive in a complex corporate environment.
