My client, a well-established independent B2B PR consultancy, is looking for a PR Account Director to join their successful and growing team. The PR Account Director will have responsibility for several accounts, which cover a number of reputable national and international brands.
The role of the PR Account Director will see you playing a key role in developing business, managing client relationships, developing junior team members, identifying projects and revenue generating opportunities, developing proposals for clients, and acting as point of contact for team queries. Duties will include developing ideas and strategies for existing clients, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, issue and crisis management, leading team in managing award-winning strategic client work, supporting and liaising with clients, monitoring programme deliverables, overseeing reporting and evaluation, and directing accounts to deliver against client objectives on time and to budget. Additionally, you will coach and mentor junior team members, maintain overall control on all financial matters relating to client accounts, and ensure the promotion of professionalism and the agency's values.
To be considered for the role, you should have a minimum of five years' experience within a B2B PR consultancy, with exceptional team management and account handling skills. You should have the ability to provide staff with growth opportunities and play a proactive role in staff development, exceptional communication and client liaison skills, the ability to deliver all allocated tasks in a timely and appropriate manner, and the ability to proactively identify new business opportunities. Most importantly, however, you should be friendly, outgoing, diligent, enthusiastic, passionate about B2B PR, and committed to supporting this passion in others.
