Head of Digital
Our client is a leading London PR agency specialising in fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle. An amazing opportunity has arisen for a creative and talented individual to join their team as the Head of Digital.
This is a newly created role that offers the successful candidate the chance to really make an impact on the agency, establishing a specialist Digital division with its own clients and revenue stream. Essentially, you will be developing and co-ordinating the digital and social media strategy of existing client accounts across the agency with the objective of drive growth revenues. You will also be involved in the pitching and winning of new business for the company with a strong digital and social media focus.
You will be responsible for recruiting your team, as well the training and up skilling of all staff in this area to develop the agency’s own digital and social media presence. As the head of the team, you will be managing the allocated budget, ensuring efficient allocation of funds and profitability is achieved. This role will require you to work with independence and accountability in all areas, consistently performing to achieve objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in the digital sector, having proven ability of successfully devising and implementing digital plans. Your digital knowledge will be superior with the ability to effectively target and position brands through channel selection and engagement tactics. Previous experience managing a team and budgets is essential. As you will be establishing the team, it is vital that you possess a strong network of contacts within the digital sector.
