Account Director - Digital Star for one global client

Roles don’t come up in this team very often and for good reason. This small team is part of a large, global PR agency and they are the global centre for all communications activity for this internationally recognisable brand. They have now created a brand new position for a digital expert to lead all social media and online communications initiatives within this team

The Role

 

Key challenges and opportunities in this Digital Account Director role:

  • Being the global, digital lead for this high profile brand client
  • Working across developing social media initiatives, online toolkits, mobile aps as well as online video content to ensure you maximise returns and brand leadership for your client
  • Working as part of this exceptional team to develop integrated communications programmes with a global reach
  • This is a highly strategic role so you’ll be developing big picture initiatives but also helping activate these on a local and European scale
  • The client is based in mainland Europe so some international travel with be required
  • You will be working closely with your colleagues in the digital team to ensure you are all at the cutting edge of the ever evolving digital landscape

 

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Digital Account Director role:

  • Naturally you will need to be a Digital PR expert and have worked across social media, web development and online content creation
  • You should have experience working in another PR or communications agency and being the go to digital person for some significant brand name clients
  • Having direct experience of pan European or Global digital PR campaigns is highly desirable
  • You will need to be a real people person as you will be working with different teams and being the central point for coordinating all social media activity for the client
  • We are not looking for people who have dipped their toe into the digital space for this role but only top people who are fully submersed within the digital communications sphere
