Our client, a growing PR consultancy working with large and successful businesses on B2B, Consumer and Marketing Communications projects, is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or a Junior Account Director to join their team in South West London.
The role will involve working on a busy portfolio of B2B accounts within the retail, media/marcomms and related technology sectors. You will oversee and implement B2B PR activity in trade, national and vertical press using targeted media relations, as well as advising clients on a wider PR strategy to help them achieve their business objectives. In addition, you will play a key role in bringing in new business, contributing to the growth of the agency. You will also be responsible for managing an Account Executive, developing their skills and helping them progress to the next level. They will also be opportunity to branch out and work on other clients within the agency, for example our client handles the PR for a hugely successful and well known FMCG company.
The successful candidate will come from a solid PR agency background, ideally in the B2B marketing/technology sectors and have a track record of superb account management skills. You must have a firm understanding and experience with Social Media, knowledge of Google+ and all the latest developments. You will have a good understanding of technology within marketing. Good analytical skills as well as exceptional written communication skills are also essential.
