As Account Manager you will be responsible for driving your accounts and executing PR activities in accordance with the PR strategy within budget. You will and have a thorough understanding of all media and communications skills/tools needed to achieve coverage across all PR areas.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
*Excellent written skills, ability to write creative and factually accurate press releases.
*Involvement in writing new business proposals, drafting reports, speeches and presentations as required.
*Driving the media relations programmes for all clients.
*Pro-actively seeking and identifying publicity opportunities for clients.
*Plan and manage all events on behalf of client whether cocktail functions, lunches, workshops, photocalls or press conferences.
*Excellent client facing skills, ability to lead client meetings and all necessary follow up.
*Delivery of client contact and monthly activity reports
*Be commercially aware, understanding the financial controls on all accounts, mark-up rules and budgeting procedures etc.
*Ability to motivate and supervise a small junior team.
*Ability to lead on new business brainstorms, research, proposals and presentations.
