Fantastic opportunity to join a financial services organisation as Corporate Communications Account Manager as they go through some exciting changes and expansion!
Our client has been a stalwart of the financial services sector for decades providing niche lending solutions. They are now undertaking a further period of expansion into new markets and have some really superb products which they need your help to market! As Corporate Communications Account Manager you will have a very varied role which will include writing press releases, features and blogs on many of their key brands and being responsible for all external corporate communications, but will also encompass internal comms (a bi-monthly magazine and project work), support for the investor relations team, and working alongside an external lobbying agency.
The key requirements for undertaking this role, aside from a very strong communications background, are flexibility and adaptability within your role; you will cover b2b and b2c work, and will often find yourself moving between the two. Naturally a financial services background would be a big advantage, however, strong media relations gained from either in-house or agency would be considered, and internal comms knowledge would also be really useful.
