A fantastic opportunity has come up with my client, an international PR agency based in Nottinghamshire, for a PR Account Executive to join their experienced team. This well-established agency specialises in technology, and provides PR services across the globe.
As PR Account Executive, your duties will include researching and writing press releases, generating press lists for various industries and markets, managing the distribution of press releases, monitoring news coverage, and liaising with the media and journalists. You will also be writing feature articles, case studies, and copy for brochures and websites, researching feature opportunities, negotiating with local, national, regional, and specialist media, supporting and attending client events and exhibitions, and of course maintaining excellent client relationships by working closely with the clients and understanding their PR requirements.
To be considered for the role, you will need to be an experienced PR Account Executive, with at least six to twelve months’ relevant agency experience; experience gained in-house with a relevant B2B industry will also be considered. You should have gained an excellent grounding in the workings of a PR agency/environment, and should be confident in writing press releases and copy, working closely with clients, and liaising with media and journalists. You will have fantastic written and verbal communication skills, organisational and time management skills, and a keen and genuine interest in developing your B2B PR career – you will also be expected to build and maintain a full understanding of the industries and products in which your clients work. A friendly and positive approach will also be required!
