Communications Officer - B2B/Public Sector
This professional, educational and trade union body based within Central London is now looking for a Communications Officer to provide cover during October, start date Monday 14th.
You will have about 4/5 years' experience, who has proven ability in delivering strategic comms media relations, including planning and implementing proactive and reactive PR at local, regional and national levels. You will also be expected to take charge of media evaluation and reporting on results.
You will have a strong media background ideally gained within an agency or news background, as well as prior experience of working in a fast-paced press office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information. You will have an acute attention to detail, thorough research skills and be an efficient, organized event planner. Confident at making speedy and effective decisions, a team player who will assist the rest of the team when required.
