Introduction

BBC Children in Need, the British Broadcasting Corporation’s UK Charity, is looking for a Celebrity Liaison Executive to identify, recruit and manage celebrities and high profile individuals to support BBC Children in Need through an all year round strategy. The charity supports projects working with disadvantaged children and young people in the UK with a vision that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.

About the role

Your role will be to build, develop and sustain relationships with a wide range of talent and their management teams. Importantly therefore, you'll engage a variety of talent with the charity's work and initiatives. As such, you'll play a key role in raising our profile and building long term talent associations so that they become our advocates.  As a consequence, you'll be ensuring that talent really help us to tell the story of how the money we raise is put to good use. Working with the Celebrity Manager, you’ll also generate strategic partnerships with key talent via the creation of innovative ideas.

About you

We’re looking for someone with experience of working with talent, preferably in a charity Artist liaison team, but could also be within an Artist management or Celebrity PR team. Bringing excellent contacts with agents, publicists and celebrities, you’ll demonstrate exceptional understanding of the celebrity environment alongside knowledge of news and changes within the industry.  In this regard, you'll also show your ability to influence and negotiate talent, particularly in relation to building long standing relationships. Additionally, you’ll have experience working with celebrity led corporate partnerships or brand endorsements.
