A fantastic opportunity has come up for a budding PR & Marketing Account Executive to join a fantastic full-service agency based in Leicestershire. Due to a host of new business wins as well as an internal restructure, this small but successful agency needs a talented individual to join their growing team.
As PR & Marketing Account Executive, you will be supporting the account management teams in the delivery of timely PR, social, and marketing campaigns, implementing social media strategies, and building relationships with both clients and journalists. Duties within this role will include writing press releases and creative briefs, social media, press enquiries, organising photoshoots, monitoring news and industry coverage, liaising with the media, attending and supporting events, proof reading, liaising with clients, creating media lists, managing databases, and undertaking general administrative duties.
To be considered for the role, you should have at least six months’ experience in a relevant PR and/or marketing environment, and have gained a good foundation of PR, marketing and communications knowledge, such as from a relevant degree subject. You will need an excellent working knowledge of all social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, and experience of using WordPress and e:Blogger would be advantageous. As a person, you should be a well-organised self-starter, have strong writing skills, be genuinely enthusiastic about PR and marketing, and be persistent, creative, trustworthy, and reliable.
