An internship opportunity exists within the corporate services team, providing organisational and administrative support for our consultants and clients

Client Services:

The role involves helping our teams to deliver and evaluate their work for clients and maintaining the systems and processes which underpin client care in the business, including:

  • Scanning and saving cuttings and preparing cuttings books
  • Assisting with research such as client and competitor information and media lists
  • Helping to maintain contracts, renewals, proposals and work plan files, and ensuring all documents for clients are produced to agreed templates
  • Helping to refresh the contact database on a regular basis and when new client wins are announced
  • Helping to set up processes as new business wins are announced, and developing and maintaining this system
  • Secretarial Support – including formatting/editing of documents, note-taking/collaboration, meeting arrangements, travel and accommodation organisation, IT support and general displays, along with client focused secretarial work such as case study and press release distribution, mail-outs
  • Supporting event organisation – including sourcing venues, sending invitations, collating contacts and distributing information
  • Supporting client presentations and meetings – preparation of documents and presentation material
  • Booking interviews, maintaining databases, obtaining contact info for reputation audits
  • Magazine and newspaper filing

Corporate Services:

In addition the intern will contribute to general company administration, including:

  • Directing phone calls, organising meeting rooms, sorting post and dealing with visitors
  • Helping to plan team meetings and diary management
  • Subscriptions – ordering and monitoring

Skills and personal qualities:

  • Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong organisation and priority management skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Able to work to deadlines and highlight potential problems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable
  • Proactive
  • Previous work experience in an administration role

Hours: 15 hrs per week, 2 days
