Are you a communications professional with substantial experience of events management and stakeholder engagement? Can you use research and insight to generate favourable, insightful media coverage? Can you tell a compelling story and manage the reputation of a global alliance with a vital future strategy?
Our client is seeking a talented and bright Communications Manager, who will report to the inspirational Director of Communications. You’ll develop credibility and influence with key stakeholders all over the globe and will interact with an international network of public and private partners, investors, donors, funds and philanthropists. You’ll be an ace project manager – used to putting together large-scale corporate events with resounding success. You’ll know how to network, to influence and to use research, data and insight to deliver and impactful communications plans shaped around sustainable market-based strategies.
Ad hoc projects will be yours to own, although you’ll need to operate within your budgets. Strong experience of corporate communications and thought leadership campaigns is essential, covering reactive and proactive campaigns and programmes, developing wider core communications strategies, briefing spokespeople and senior management and offering tailored media training to colleagues, influencing news agendas, producing on-point and targeted written material and identifying new media opportunities.
You’ll show good commercial insight and will be able to handle sensitive issues effectively, will possess excellent written and verbal communications, will be assertive, articulate and self-motivated; you’ll also display the right degree of gravitas and confidence to deal with senior colleagues on a regular basis.
