PR Account Manager
This brilliant PR team is one of the real success stories of recent years, exceeding all expectations in terms of growth and because of this they are in urgent need of a proven Account Manager to join them in their success.
It’s really hard to believe that this fantastic team have only been in existence a few years, as their business wins and strategy are creating some real waves within the Midlands PR scene. They’ve got a really stable team in place, but they lack that one key element: a good PR Account Manager. Their clients are fantastic, really mixing business to business and consumer, so they can offer the opportunity to work on some really meaty issues-related PR, some fantastic regional media relations, top notch leisure accounts and some thought leadership work. They need someone on board who can really get involved with the day to day running and management of accounts, assisting more junior members of the team and leading by example, therefore allowing the senior members of the team to really focus their efforts on strategy and business development.
To be considered for the role you will need to be a proven Account Manager. Often clients can be flexible on this level for the right person, but on this occasion they really need someone who has about 3 years experience, and at least six months as an AM, preferably longer, but equally not someone who is knocking on the door of being a SAM. You may have had a background in consumer or B2B PR, they’re really not fixated on this, but you must have had experience of utilising social media as well as traditional PR, and you must be happy to pick up the phone to sell in a story. You must also be really passionate about PR, be keen to work in a great team which is part of a much larger picture and want to grow your career with an organisation.
