Use your skills to make a difference
Are you an innovative and creative communication professional? Can you use your skills to make a difference to residents in West Hampshire? Feel like taking on a more rewarding role?
If so, then consider our vacancy for the Head of Communication and Engagement with West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
West Hampshire is one of the largest Clinical Commissioning Groups and has 53 Constituent member practices within six localities and an allocation of £580m to commission health services on behalf of its 539,000 residents. We commission acute services from four main providers: University Hospitals Southampton Foundation Trust, Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Foundation Trust and Salisbury Foundation Trust – and work closely with our neighbouring CCGs particularly in Southampton City, North Hampshire and Dorset
Led by local GPs, we are committed to ensuring the public has a strong and clear voice to shape our work and that we are open and transparent in our approach.
This new role will lead a small professional team in helping the public to get involved and engaged with the CCG, locally and corporately. You will drive the development of creative and innovative ways to facilitate two way communications and build a pro-active media profile for the CCG, developing strong relationships with and working alongside our many partners. We are looking for someone with a commitment to the NHS and to involving people in its work and developments.
