Our client is a specialist within the housing sector, and following a few internal changes they are looking to recruit a Communications Adviser to join them as part of their new team structure. This role will involve assisting the Communications Manager in all aspects of the group’s communication strategy, working alongside a digital specialist and an external media relations service. You will be heavily involved with proactive communications to tenants and service users as well as being involved with the delivery of corporate messages; additionally you will be working with internal comms from time to time and be involved in the organisation of internal and external stakeholder events
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate superb writing skills and a good allround background within PR and marketing gained from a commercial environment. You’ll have great experience of using social media to engage positively with people, specifically Twitter and Facebook as well as an understanding of trends in relation to internal and external communications. Experience of working with the press and writing engaging articles would be very useful.
