Join us and use your media skills to help us take Sport Relief 2014 to the country and inspire people to get involved.
Working on one of the UK’s most exciting and recognisable fundraising campaigns you will be part of the media team responsible for delivering all coverage for Sport Relief 2014 in the national press and communicating on the work that Comic Relief funds both in the UK and internationally in particular. This will involve gaining a solid understanding of our organisational, marketing and media strategies as well as grant making principles and issues we fund and using that insight to generate coverage. This will include developing creative and realistic media plans involving placing stories about celebrity visits and funded projects, setting up interviews, organising project visits and more. You will also monitor and evaluate effectiveness.
Able to demonstrate the ability to develop, implement and evaluate high profile media strategies you will be have experience generating coverage through placing case studies and stories about projects, setting up interviews and placing stories about celebrities visiting projects. Skilled at developing and delivering creative ideas that generate media coverage you understand the need to monitor impact and evaluate results. Good at prioritising and managing multiple projects you will be effective at building media relationships and working with high profile individuals.
