The CBI, the UK’s premier business lobbying organisation, providing a voice for employers at a national and international level, is expanding its Campaigns Directorate.
Based at our London office (Centre Point), the CBI’s Campaigns Directorate is responsible for promoting the CBI’s policy positions across a range of subject areas.
As Campaigns Adviser you will be responsible for helping to coordinate the overall strategies for campaigns. This includes working with policy colleagues to ensure individual projects are delivering towards campaign objectives, and tying together external messaging into a common narrative. You will also help coordinate the Directorate’s stakeholder engagement and, working with CBI Press Office, coordinate our media activity.
You will report to the Head of Campaigns. There will be the potential to work to and/or manage other colleagues in the context of individual projects.
You will be responsible for helping to ensure diverse areas of work complement one another, and that the CBI puts forward a compelling solution to growing our economy today whilst managing future risks and ensuring the growth of tomorrow. This role will involve engaging with senior politicians, business figures, and the media to take these answers into the heart of government and the wider public debate. The right candidate will make a positive and visible impact on direction of UK policy and business.
