Following the departure on maternity leave of the current Senior PR Manager, this great organisation needs a brilliant corporate communications specialist to step in immediately for a nine-month contract.
This well-known organisation is often best known for its crisis & issues work however their remit is a lot broader. From developing strategy to delivering broad communications projects, this is a hugely varied role. Day-to-day, the role will involve serving as spokesperson for the organisation, liaising with media contacts and dealing with press enquiries, while, in the background, continually working on broad strategy.
This role calls for intellectual gravitas, sound corporate communications experience and a track record of managing crisis that are very much in the public eye. You will have experience of developing and implementing PR programmes, and using a mix of traditional and digital PR strategies and tactics to reach the target audiences. You will be a ‘people person’, someone with the gravitas and warmth to connect with a range of audiences, while still getting the core message across. Your organisational and negotiation skills will be second-to-none and you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
