We’re looking for a lively and ambitious SAE with agency-side experience in consumer healthcare PR including OTC brands and public health, to work across accounts that cover health supplements, nutrition, industry bodies and OTC brands.
Media relations must be one of your strengths, so we’ll be keen to hear about coverage you’ve generated for your clients and the hooks and ideas you’ve used to engage different kinds of press. You need to be just as capable of talking to the medical professional media as you are to consumer healthcare writers – it’s all about getting stuck in and delivering great results for clients, sometimes covering complex and issues-rich scenarios. Integrated campaigns incorporate stakeholder groups, media influencers, medical communities and social media commentators so we need someone who can help join the dots and deliver consistent messaging and results.
In order to fit in with the culture of the agency, you must be driven, committed and proud of what you can achieve, as well as having a genuine interest in health and nutrition. A head for research will definitely help, as will the ability to handle different industry issues – it goes with the territory in consumer healthcare.
