PR and Communications Executive
At the Chartered Quality Institute we believe that quality is an important issue for the UK - in 2011, quality management contributed £90 billion to the UK economy. We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic PR and Communications Executive to take the lead on raising the profile and building the reputation of our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take ownership of the CQI’s public relations at an ambitious time of expansion. Within this stand-alone role, you will be developing and implementing the PR strategy, and continuously seeking new ways in which to drive our agenda forward.
The ideal candidate will be media savvy with proven experience of delivering successful PR campaigns at national level, through a variety of media. He/she will be a confident communicator, able to foster strong, effective relations with the press, key spokespeople and colleagues. They will have their finger firmly on the pulse of current affairs and have a keen eye for spotting opportunities to raise awareness of our cause. We want someone who is hardworking, willing to take a hands-on approach when working autonomously, whilst working closely with colleagues to deliver projects, including planning and managing an annual calendar of events.
The successful candidate will be working within our friendly and sociable office in central London. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already had exposure to a wide range of PR activities, but is now looking to take the next step in their career as the lead of the PR function and visibly contributing to the success of the organisation.
The CQI and IRCA are internationally recognised brands, committed to providing an excellent service.
