Sector: Associations / Institutions, Charity / Voluntary organisation, Government, Healthcare

Job description

Our client is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Associate on the Content Development side of communications; someone with a real skill for working across a variety of content rich platforms. This is an opportunity to work alongside an inspirational Director of Communications within this global business, which has extensive hubs in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Digital skills are key, of course, as you’ll need to know how to maximise your audience, but it is your solid writing and research skills that will really count.  You’ll play a vital role in the development of the organisation’s corporate brand, with particular emphasis on developing creative and compelling content for the external engagement platforms including the website. You will be responsible for researching and writing copy that is relevant, accurate and informative, auditing web pages to ensure the content is up-to-date and act as liaison with the different teams to collect data.  You’ll be a trend-spotter in order to stay one step ahead of topical issues and your PR background will allow you to build the reputation in accordance with existing thought leadership opportunities.

If you have experience of writing about important issues – including nutrition, global health, human rights or international development – you’ll have a strong advantage.

You might be a PR professional with a knack for producing superb content or an existing web editor with first class writing skills and a PR background. To thrive in this role, you will need both attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. You’ll not only have the confidence to own and deliver projects, but also a strong sense of initiative and the drive to go that extra mile.

If you have high attention to detail, experience of using online tools and a real passion for writing exceptional content, send your CV to Hetta via best@the-foundry.co.uk.

Please note that, due to the large amount of responses, only successful candidates will be contacted.
