Internal Communications Manager
Location: NW London
Salary: between £34,255 and £39,051 + excellent benefits
Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Internal Communications Manager to play a leading role in keeping their internal audiences informed and engaged, so that they can be passionate and effective advocates for the charity.
It’s an exciting time to take on this challenge: they’re looking to significantly increase their income over the next few years to allow them to grow their world-class research programme, and to continue to invest in supporting people affected by MS today.
As Internal Communications Manager, you’ll manage a Communications Officer, and have responsibility for ensuring effective communications with our client's 250 staff and thousands of volunteers based across the UK.
You’ll have strong experience, preferably in the charity sector, of mapping and understanding internal audiences, crafting the right messages and delivering them using the most appropriate channels, whether printed, electronic or face to face.
You’ll be used to working closely with senior managers and staff across all parts of an organisation on a range of complex projects. Critically, you’ll understand the importance of staff and volunteer engagement and how to use a mix of approaches to encourage everyone to feel involved and enthused about the charity’s work. You’ll be armed with excellent writing skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
