Bournemouth University is looking for senior marketing and communications professionals to bring leadership, creativity and performance at an exciting time in BU’s development. As part of a vibrant marketing and communications team, you will play a key role in building BU’s reputation as a vibrant and ambitious institution which offers high quality academic programmes and research geared to the professions and societal need.
This new post will demand strategic leadership to be combined with outstanding delivery across a broad range of marketing and communications functions. You will be responsible for leading development of market research and intelligence to inform strategy and portfolio development; delivering innovative and cost-effective marketing campaigns; managing and developing a sector-leading digital communications strategy and website.
You will bring experience in marketing planning, proven success in developing and running integrated campaigns using a mix of traditional and digital channels, a strong understanding of relationship marketing and an analytical approach to evaluation.
As a natural leader you are someone that thrives off building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders, with the commitment to drive a high performance culture. Experience of higher education will be an advantage in this role which will demand confidence and flexible communication skills to work with a variety of key audiences.
