My client is a housing association that is set to become London’s largest developer of new homes.   They are looking for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop their media career in a fast paced press office.

You will be part of their Communications Team who is responsible fro protecting and promoting the company’s reputation across a diverse range of audiences.

Key responsibilities

Cope in a frontline position that requires someone who can hunt out stories that enhance the company’s image and pitch them to the media.

Quickly and professionally respond to enquiries from national, local and trade journalists.

Producing sympathetic and lively case studies, so you will be a confident and accurate communicator. 

Responsible for press office administration, including management of media monitoring services and contacts databases.

Previous experience of this is highly desirable.

Ideally, but not necessarily, you will have a background in housing or local government with experience of working within a political context.

Reporting to the Senior Press Officer, this is a key post within the busy communications team.
