With a diverse portfolio of policy areas ranging from farming and rural affairs to flooding and wildlife protection, Defra’s work is constantly in the public eye. Which is why our award-winning News and External Communications team needs to find ever-more creative and innovative ways to win support for our agenda. Join us here and you’ll be tackling some of the most challenging and high profile issues in Government communications.
We need proactive people to produce clear, engaging communications, provide trusted advice to Ministers and officials and develop productive relationships with a wide range of media contacts.
