The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is at the heart of plans to mark the Centenary of the First World War. From large scale commemorative events at our cemeteries and memorials worldwide, through to innovative social media campaigns and marketing literature, the next four years will present a range of opportunities for you to contribute to the work of this remarkable organisation.
The role involves working on a wide range of projects - so you must be flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities.
One minute you may be liaising with national media over an opportunity in Belgium, the next writing engaging copy for our award winning website. You'll certainly be busy as we seek to raise the CWGC's profile both in the UK and overseas.
With a degree level education, or equivalent, you will have experience of working in a busy press office or communications team. You will have experience of writing, designing and producing publicity materials and managing suppliers. A PR, communication or journalism qualification would be advantageous.
To apply for this role please send a copy of your CV along with a cover letter.
Interviews for this role will be held on 6th March and will involve writing a press release along with a competency based interview.
