The main purpose of the job is to develop and deliver internal communications activity and engagement campaigns that engage and influence colleagues. You will also need to make sure that these activities meet company needs and the overall strategy during a time of change and growth.
On a day to day basis you will help develop an internal communications strategy and supporting plan, which aims to optimise employee involvement, engagement and loyalty. You will provide advice and counsel to colleagues and the Board on all aspects of internal communications and engagement including Leadership communications. You will also have the opportunity to lead on the development and delivery of complex change communications programmes to support cultural, process and system change in the business.
As part of the broader team you will also be accountable for the delivery of the initiatives and events that support the business strategy. Part of your remit will also require your developing new and innovative ideas for communications material supporting both content and delivery and providing best practice solutions.
Experience in internal communications is a must as is the ability to work at strategic level with proven implementation skills. It would be useful if you had previous experience of leading and influencing change working closely with senior management in large organisations. You will need to show sound experience of shaping communications plans for a large organisation through design, delivery and implementation.
