The trading arm of this national charity is looking for a Media Officer to help raise its profile amongst consumers, business stakeholders and making the most of their carbon neutral foot print and continue their relationships with organisations in the environmental space.
The role is three-fold:
Firstly to raise awareness of the charities cause and position them as their first point of call
Secondly to liaise with partners including Supermarkets
Lastly to continue pushing their environmental credentials
You will have responsibility for developing PR plans that will help the organisation to both grow their supporters and also their retail presence. You will be happy working solo but will appreciate the input of the larger communications team.
You will have:
Experience of working with a range of media, including, consumer, national, retail and environmental
Able to devise PER plans with a small budget
Social media understanding
This is a great role, ideal for a generalist PR with a real passion for the charity sector and the ability to work across a range of projects.
