JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

The Account Associate in the healthcare practice has primary responsibility for supporting the team on internal and external communications account management activities across all WCG accounts. S/he has a strong, capability in project management and interest communications.  S/he helps to build the company’s healthcare practice via active engagement in new business development, client and account management, and the creation and implementation of annual plans and project plans.  

  • Manage timelines, calendars, project trackers and overall account support materials

  • Support monitoring needs for clients

  • Support research need for clients

  • Develop media lists as needed

  • Incorporate client edits to documents

  • Ensure the team is on track with deliverables and timelines

  • Stay on top of trends of relevance to client to flag as appropriate

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly organized and mindful of deadlines

  • Professional presence, performs with a sense of urgency and with a client service orientation

  • Demonstrated experience with media monitoring, research and taking on projects with limited supervision

  • Able to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met

  • Able to articulate solutions to problems on an ongoing basis

  • Independent thinker, but team player who enjoys collaboration

  • Good management of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) -- particularly PowerPoint

  • Excels at research and possesses excellent writing skills

  • Has good understanding of social media vehicles and is comfortable managing and drafting communications around them

  • Well-organized with an attention to detail and an ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team

  • Strong written and oral communications and presentations skills
