Communications and Engagement Officer (22 months)
WLWA are looking to recruit a resourceful Communications & Engagement Officer to research, plan, develop and deliver communications and engagement activities to support the work of WLWA, with a specific focus on the waste minimisation strategy and yearly action plans, across the six partner Boroughs in West London.
The right person will be a highly organised communications officer with the skills and experience to take a leading role in the development and co-ordination of communications, engagement and marketing for the Authority.
You’ll be producing creative and well-written material for a variety of media such as www.westlondonwaste.gov.uk, the employee intranet, resident newsletter, posters, borough magazines and newspapers, presentations, social media channels, and other communications channels used for campaigns and sharing of information. You’ll also be planning and taking part in communications with a range of stakeholders including local press, borough partners, contractors, government organisations, national campaigns and local residents.
