The Corporate Practice of this global agency has, over the last two years, exceeded its targets and bucked all the trends, mainly down to the hard work and inspirational leadership of its Managing Director.  As a result of this success, an opportunity has been created for a Director to take over the running of one of its core client areas – industrials; manufacturing, transport, defence, logistics, chemicals – basically, all the interesting, issues-rich sectors where reputation really matters.

The brief, of course, is to build the practice through new business generation and the organic growth of existing clients.  So, it’s critical that you genuinely have a passion for business development and the confidence in your ability to generate leads and win pitches.  The scope of the Practice’s offer is broad – strategic counsel, thought leadership, crisis and issues management, stakeholder engagement and government relations – so you’ll need to be a consummate all-rounder.  Team leadership and coaching expertise are also important and you’ll have experience of running £1m-plus P&Ls.
