Interim Policy & Regulation Manager, Energy
A new government organisation within the energy & utilities sector needs to recruit an Interim Policy & Regulation Manager to work within the Regulation and Communications team during a busy time of programme implementation and enduring service delivery. Starting ASAP for at least 6 months, the Regulation Manager is a highly visible role which is both internal and external facing. It will report to the Director of Regulation and Communications and will work within a small but evolving team during an exciting period of growth of the organisation. The role is predominantly responsible for managing the coordination and drafting of consultation responses, in addition to liaising with key regulators and other political stakeholders. You will work closely with external stakeholder regulatory teams to align responses and support the delivery of this high profile national change programme. The role willl work with Service Management, Commercial, Design and Assurance to provide regulatory impacts for the change process, as well as compiling monthly reports for key government depts and other stakeholders. Suitable candidates will have proven policy or consultation management experience gained within a highly regulated industry. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and an ability to articulate complex technical, financial and programme related topics, in addition to understanding complex political frameworks. A self starter with the ability to hit the ground running, you will also demonstrate proven experience of working effectively within a complex, high pressured environment.
