DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
London – c£80k plus benefits
The three largest community pharmacy associations have formed Pharmacy Voice to provide a stronger and more unified voice for their members.
To move their vision forward we are now looking for an experienced, high-calibre and influential communications professional to join the senior executive team. The primary focus of this new role is to develop and implement all of Pharmacy Voice’s activities relating to Communications and Public Affairs & Relations and Brand Management.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, as the Director of Communications you will already have senior level experience of communications and corporate policy development and delivery. Ideally, this will be in either pharmacy or NHS, or with one of the trade organisations in this or a related health sectors. Alongside this, you will have significant experience in media & brand management and well grounded experience of delivering innovative multi-channel marketing and communications processes.
The role-holder will be responsible for the formation and ongoing success of the Communications Directorate and will also act as the primary contact for media matters and press relations. Therefore alongside your excellent team leadership skills, you should have demonstrable previous success in stakeholder engagement & support.
