An award-winning consultancy which has four offices worldwide and is part of a larger creative communications group, is looking for a Director for its market-leading, specialist health policy division to support the next phase of growth.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, Directors provide counsel to clients and colleagues, ensuring profitable and effective delivery of communications programmes and leading on new business as well as playing a crucial part in the strategic development of the wider agency. Clients include pharmaceutical companies, health charities and NHS bodies.
You will be expected to offer senior level advice on policy approaches and oversee all policy engagement plans and programmes, leading and inspiring your team to deliver the best results for clients and therefore strengthening even further the reputation of this division from its competitors.
We would like you to have a solid understanding of the health policy environment, a proven track record of success within health communications and a strong professional network. You are likely to be Senior Associate Director or Director in your current role, if you are working agency side, or an equally senior position if you are in-house. Specifically, you need the ability to identify, analyse and use data to create hypotheses and findings, and create compelling ways to communicate these to stakeholders. A confident grasp of the role of social media is also important, as is the ability to contribute content to appropriate channels. We need someone collaborative, committed and ambitious, who – despite their years of experience and seniority - is prepared to get their hands dirty and get stuck in with their colleagues.
