Salary: £60,000-70,000 per annum (dependent on experience) 30 days annual leave + public holidays + pension contributions

Overview and Job Description
Media Trust works in partnership with the wider media, communications, advertising and digital industry to deliver a wide range of free and paid for communications initiatives and services for the charity and community sector across the UK.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who has strong leadership skills with a track record of winning business and establishing innovative partnerships with brands. You will be a creative thinker who can ‘make things happen’ matched with strong operational and management skills, as well as a track record in managing effective communications across a variety of audiences.
The ideal candidate will have a communications background and excellent contacts across the media industry. You will ideally have had a minimum of five years experience working at a senior management level, successfully managing teams and budgets.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for managing our Corporate Membership programme and boosting our visibility across the media and communications industry. You will work closely with our media partners to harness their resources and creativity to benefit the charities and communities we support, and to deliver high impact initiatives in partnership with our media partners.
You will lead on our wider communications, ensuring that Media Trust and Community Channel have a high profile across the media industry, voluntary sector, with other stakeholders, and in the national and regional media. Managing the communications team, you will also lead and drive our communications, including development and delivery of editorial campaigns with major media brands. Digital impact and innovation will be an important part of the role.
As a key member of the senior management team, you will have a vital role in cross-organisational business development, income generation and fundraising.
You will play a lead part in the strategic and operational development of the next stage of Media Trust’s growth and impact, and attend and contribute to board meetings working closely with our trustees, who lead major companies across the media industry.
