They need to hire a truly creative brain – someone whose mind is constantly whirring and for whom new ideas come naturally. The ideas have to work however, so a strategic and commercial sensibility is vital too. There’s also an imperative for this person to be culturally connected and to be able to use those connections to propel brand engagement and create newsworthy content - specifically art, music, design, film, fashion and, of course, celebrity.
The need for creativity isn’t just confined to consumer clients; original ideas are just as valid in the corporate space, so a high degree of versatility and intellectual agility is really important.
