Key stakeholders will be Government, educators and employers as this organisation is responsible for programmes which drive technology skills, education and training in the UK. The communications team is looking for a proactive PR Manager to handle high news agenda thought leadership campaigns. To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience handling corporate PR campaigns (agency or in-house) to Senior/Account Manager level.

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this In-house Technology PR Manager role:

  • Using your communications prowess and excellent understating of PR and corporate positioning to really drive the PR function forwards
  • Utilising your exceptional research skills and keen eye for a news hook to provide insightful and creative written work
  • Seeking out stories to leverage for thought leadership and news output
  • Being confident to wear multiple hats, expanding your corporate communications remit into the public affairs and technology space
  • Proactively maintaining a vibrant social media presence
  • Liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders and government members to maintain a proactive communications function

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this In-house Technology PR Manager role:

  • Solid corporate communications with a specific focus or interest in technology to Senior/Account Manager level
  • You will be a great ‘news hound’ who can identify and capitalise on interesting stories
  • An individual with strong academics and outstanding writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • The gravitas to liaise with very senior internal and external stakeholders
