A unique and extremely exciting opportunity for an established Associate Director with a strong entrepreneurial nature has come up in this award-winning health communications consultancy.
The firm which has offices in central London in addition to offices in the US and south-east Asia is in a new and exciting phase in its development and as a result, it is looking to appoint a new member to its senior management team. Unlike traditional Associate Director positions, this individual will be a key contributor in helping to shape the business and direction of the firm and will have the opportunity to focus on their own specific areas of interest and specialisms which could potentially result in new business units for the firm.
This agency is extremely innovative in recruiting new staff and prefers to really listen to an individual, particularly talent with business propositions and then tries to carve a role around that person in order to meet their aspirations. The firm believes this approach will subsequently and ultimately benefit the business in both the short and long-term.
The agency is around 40-strong and covers a broad range of healthcare communications including ethical healthcare, consumer health, medical communications and policy. Although the fundamental core remit for this hire is within ethical healthcare business; covering both global and UK accounts, new talent with specialisms and interests such as issues and crisis management / reputation management or strategic consultation will be extremely welcomed. On the ethical side, they work on a broad range of therapy areas, predominantly on global campaigns including disease awareness and advocacy and have a wide range of major organisations as their clients.
With a significant amount of new investment going into the firm and following some exciting recent hires, this is a poignant time to join this firm as it moves into its next phase. This opportunity would welcome an individual who perhaps feels somewhat restricted in their current role in terms of fulfilling their full potential or being unable to work in areas of interest. The scope for this hire is enormous and the opportunity would provide a clear and transparent career progression plan to achieve Director level within the next 12 to 18 months.
