My client, a great Central London based Charity, is currently recruiting an interim PR Manager for a period of 9 - 12 months to cover a period of maternity. Working in the wider communications team the role will have responsibility for leading public relations activity at the organisation.
As PR Manager you will have responsibility for line managing 2 Senior PR officers. The postholder will be tasked with managing the press office function, providing strategic public relations advice to senior members of staff across the business, managing any potential reputation issues and liaising with journalist and making sure the team is set up to respond to any enquiries from journalists.
Ideal candidates will display:
- Experience working in a senior role within a PR and Communications team
- A track record of delivering proactive and reactive media campaigns
- Line management experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
