An integrated strategic consultancy is looking for an ambitious Account Director to join their dynamic team. This agency is renowned for their ability to deliver exceptional results; they are dedicated to creating innovative, rich content and implementing powerful campaigns to support all aspects of their clients’ business objectives. Working across integrated media PR campaigns for the corporate and financial services industries, the successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of media, social, and economic trends and their impact on client business.

As Account Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the senior team to devise strategy
  • Establishing solid relationships with primary members of the client team, including acting as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Managing a junior team
  • Proactively managing all media coverage, ensuring the opportunities are created and capitalised on
  • Seeking out new business leads, as well as contributing reliable and enthusiastic support for pitches

The ideal Account Director will have:

  • Proven experience in corporate communications
  • A good understanding of the financial and professional services industries
  • An in-depth knowledge of the media and how to make an impact
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Broad media networks, including social media
  • The ability to hit the ground running
  • A successful track record of new business development
