With many of their partners acknowledged as leaders in their fields, and with a strong reputation for delivering excellence, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced media relations professional with a keen interest in commercial, business, and economic issues.

The successful candidate will act as the primary media contact for all queries relating to the litigation, employment, and tax practices of the firm and will have a solid understanding of their role in the broader context of the team, the firm, and its clients.

As PR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing the media relations strategy for the global litigation, employment, and tax practices
  • Playing a leading role in building the profile of the firm and presenting the company’s values
  • Acting as an advisor to major corporates, as well as advising senior management on all comms related matters and liaising with the partners
  • Sourcing key themes and comments to sell-in to the press proactively, including writing submissions for industry awards and attending award evenings as a host
  • Driving the social media activity of the company
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key journalists

The ideal PR Manager will have:

  • Proven experience, ideally in professional services
  • The ability to work directly with partners to identify opportunities, prepare for interviews, and follow up with the media
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to advise with confidence
  • Proven experience of crisis/issues management
  • Creativity in spotting opportunities, and the ability to proactively identify and sell-in commentary opportunities
  • The ability to advise and influence senior members of the global litigation, employment, and tax teams
