Weber Shandwick is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join the EMEA and Global teams for one of our top 5 clients. The Senior Account Executive role will focus on Consumer campaigns, with some B2B elements and will include managing influencer and media relations campaigns across several markets. This opportunity is ideal for an exceptional Account Executive or a Senior Account Executive looking for their next career challenge. 

This role will offer great exposure to clients from across EMEA and working on international briefs, including executing sponsorship activation and content creation. Experience across the automotive and motorsport sectors would be desirable but not essential for this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent campaign management skills with an aptitude for strategic and creative thinking. 

Key Duties:

  • Delivering stand-out project management skills, with the ability to manage internal and inter-agency teams to deliver extensive project plans
  • Being part of the creative development of integrated campaigns
  • Working across sponsorship activation campaigns
  • Developing strong media relationships, proactively identifying and driving media opportunities which support the client’s business objectives
  • Working across influencer activation campaigns
  • Creating press materials
  • Cultivating multi- media relationships and pitching content in
  • Admin tasks including; managing work in progress reports, results and media monitoring
  • Event research and preparation
  • Participation in building strong presentations
  • Supplier liaison – e.g. production companies etc

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience across  consumer communications to at least Account Executive level, gained within a PR agency
  • An excellent communicator and exceptional writing skills
  • Experience of inter-agency working
  • Experience of working for a large global brand
  • Proven media skills and contacts
  • Experience in delivering pan-EMEA or global campaigns from planning through to evaluation
  • Ability to digest complex information and turn into compelling written copy
  • Fluency in digital/social media platforms, tools and solutions, with experience in selling to relatively conservative clients
  • Lateral thinking - ability to join the dots between various projects, campaigns and teams
