Interim Director Of Marketing and Communications (Corporate)
It’s an exciting time for this membership organisation as it embarks on a period of change and implementation of a new organisational corporate strategy.
They are looking for a Director of Marketing & Comms to help them transition which will include everything from reviewing the function to establish if it’s fit for purpose, to brand and reputation management, media relations, marcomms and the member magazine. There’s a lot to do which is why you have a team of 20 people to support you, as you in turn, support the CEO and work alongside the senior management team.
The kind of person we need is of course an experienced practitioner who ideally would have been in a membership or professional body previously, but more importantly is someone who can manage people, give clear direction whilst being able to report to the CEO and Board. A corporate communicator with experience of organisational change essentially but someone happy to get their hands dirty and take responsibility for both the internal and external comms at this important time.
The role is likely to be for 6 months, and is based in Leicester. A really great opportunity to be involved with a business that understands the power and importance of communications as it transitions to a new phase.
