Job Details

A global transport specialist firm are looking for a Communications Manager to join their well-established team. You will be responsible for leading the development and refinement of an integrated communications strategy, identifying and delivering initiatives which promote the firm’s bids and its business strengths among key external audiences and maintaining and delivering stakeholder engagement plans. You should have experience in public affairs and media management and have strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development, and ongoing refinement, of an integrated communications strategy
  • Identifying and delivering initiatives which promote the firm’s bids and its business strengths among key external audiences
  • Supporting external stakeholder engagement events
  • Supporting the development of corporate messages
  • Maintaining and delivering stakeholder engagement plans
  • Working closely with colleagues in corporate marketing
  • Writing speeches and presentational materials
  • Supporting the business’ development and communication about corporate initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in public affairs and media management
  • Experience in all-stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • The ability to utilise social media and other modern digital platforms to support communications activity
  • Strong relationship building skills
