Network Rail owns and operates Britain’s rail infrastructure.  We strive to provide Britain with a safe, reliable and efficient railway fit for the 21^st century.

There are 32,000 of us Network Rail and we are working hard to improve every aspect of the railway.  We have made enormous progress in just four years, but there is still a lot more that we want to achieve.

We want Britain’s railway to be world class, a source of pride for the whole country.  We want to continue to raise the bar on train performance.  We want to transport more passengers and move more freight.  And we want to improve safety and reduce delays – all at a reduced cost.
