IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

To head up our Communications team we are recruiting a new post of Senior Adviser, Communications.  With international travel, you will lead on IPPF’s Global Communications Strategy and strengthen recognition of IPPF and SRHR among key stakeholders. 

You have significant global communications experience at senior level in the international development sector.  You are a strategist with a track record in raising organizational profiles.

You are competent managing a diverse Communications team including digital and publications management.  You have highly developed business expertise and political acumen.  You have the ability to reach out and build consensus around basic fundamental principles acceptable to a wider audience.  You are highly political and networked, sensitive to, and knowledgeable about, cultural, political and religious diversity.  You are a seasoned spokesperson with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and fluent English.  Other languages are advantageous.  You have a degree, ideally in journalism, international relations or social sciences or equivalent standard of education.
