Account Manager/Senior Account Manager – technology b2b – West London,  £30 - 36k

This agency, based in stylish offices in West London, is part of a worldwide group specialising in b2b technology and consumer tech with special expertise in digital media relation and is looking for an Account Manager/Senior with experience of running PR campaigns for technology or semiconductor clients.

You should be an established Account Manager and looking for your next challenge in an entrepreneurial agency which has the benefits of being part of a larger global group.  A technical or engineering qualification would be useful although not essential. The agency has separate practice groups so there is the opportunity to really expand experience and horizons both from a sector and from a geographic perspective.

You should be able to inject passion, direction and enthusiasm into your accounts and drive new business. You would be working with global clients.

Good strategically, team leader, knowledgeable in your practice areas, manage client expectations and established network of media contacts.

  • Solid tech experience is a must, with an ability to demonstrate you can understand and simplify complex technology making it consumable for a wider audience From an agency background (or mixed, but most recent experience needs to be agency)  At least 1 year solid experience at AM level Identification of opportunities and proactively pitching feature ideas to media Client consultancy with regard to publication suitability & feature ideas Generation of media/pr campaign ideas and develop quarterly PR plans / recommendations and measurement, Research and generation of feature articles, case studies and news releases Identification of exhibition and speaking opportunities and development of recommendations on which shows to attend Coordinate research for new business pitches Work with team on pitch presentation, content and delivery and begin to take the lead at new business pitches.  Ability to get stuck in, engage the team of AE/SAEs, be creative Superior presentation skills, very self confident and an ability to get clients to buy into them and their skills straight away Experienced in successfully bringing in new business and networking effectively Intellectual curiosity is a core value – looking for bright people who are about their careers and who want to make a difference for their clients
